As 2021 draws to an end it’s a time to reflect on the events of the past year, as well as look to the future. I think we’ll all agree that 2021 hasn’t been the smoothest of years, with several bumps in the road to economic recovery caused by the lingering impact of the pandemic. Even as I write, the impact is yet again being felt across Europe as restrictions are reintroduced in many areas. But as always, with adversity comes opportunity, and 2021 has provided the asset finance industry the chance to look towards the future and plan, with renewed vigour, for a greener and more sustainable recovery.
